Phillip Matthew Puckett, Sr., 37, passed away unexpectedly at 3:16 a.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born March 7, 1975 in Urbana. He was the son of Lawrence, Sr. and Shirley Puckett.

Phillip and family lived in Riverton and attended Riverton Christian Church. He was employed at Hawk's Nest Cafe. He leaves children, Kimberlee and Phillip Puckett, Jr. of Springfield and Tanya Cundiff of Riverton; fiancé, Heather Cantrall and children, Mallory, Cory and Travis Holmes of Riverton and his twins due in August, Samantha and Izabella. He is also survived by his parents; his brothers, Lawrence, Jr. (Sherry), Stephen, Rick, and Jeffrey (Deana); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Phillip was preceded in death by his son, Joshua William Puckett.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:30 until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Riverton Christian Church with Pastor Tim Harris officiating. A reception and time of fellowship will immediately follow at the church.
